Collins was the original landlord of the Baxter Building and was none too happy with his most famous tenants, the Fantastic Four. After making repeated threats to evict the Fantastic Four from the building due to the property damage caused by their superhero lifestyles, Collins was presented a check by Reed Richards, who had decided to buy out the Baxter Building. Collins quickly accepted after seeing the large amount on the check and was never seen again.
