TJ lost his 5 year un-disputed heavy weight champion title after it was discovered that he had cybernetic implants in his arms which greatly helped the success of his boxing career. Ultratech promised TJ that if he competes and wins the Killer Instinct tournament, he will get the money, love, and fame back. Being successful in the tournament, TJ has achieved it all and believes that nothing is impossible. TJ befriends Jago and Orchid during the tournament and became an unlikely hero.
TJ is a bit of a cheater in the KI tournament too though, but due to the KI Tournament’s lack of defined rules, TJ’s occasional use of a machine gun is overlooked.
