Cooch is Wal Footrots long suffering friend and neighbour. He is the owner of the dog Jess and is very much in love with his dream girl and cousin Cathy. A dedicated animal lover and enviromentalist Cooch is always going out of his way to rescue injured animals on the farm and surrounding areas. Forever battling with the evil neighbours the Murphys for their cruel treatment of animals and their constant attempts at poaching his deer. Cooch also has a tree growing in his house that he does not have the heart to chop down.
The ever loveable ying too Wals yang, Cooch is the opposite too Wal in every way.
