Daito was a leader of the Snakeroot. He led them in the creation of Erynys and the search for the “About Face” virus. However his failure at the latest quest cost him loss of favor with the Beast, the immortal being worshipped by the Hand and the Snakeroot. Daito was tortured, humiliated and led to commit ritual suicide with Sakki, the sacred sword of the order.
