Dala

History

Prior to Crisis on Infinite Earths, Dala was a vampiric follower of The Monk. When Batman and The Mad Monk came out in 2006, her origin was changed to a woman who had fallen on hard times after losing her family in Europe. The Monk found her and she became his greatest follower. She died falling on to her own knife after Julie Madison hit her with a 2×4 in defense.

Dala appears in Batman: The Brave and the Bold in the episode ”Shadow of the bat”.

Batman and Jason Blood are looking for Dala who is attacking people as a giant vampire bat. During the battle Batman is bitten by her. She was finally defeated by Etrigan. Batman became a vampire and turns on Black Mask, Alfred and his friends in the Justice League International.

Dala returns in The All-New Batman: The Brave And The Bold #12 when she is summoned with other villains by Klarion the Witch Boy.

Dala’s look is very similar to Tala, an enemy of The Phantom Stranger. .

Dala is voiced by Grey DeLisle who also voiced Fire in the same episode.
