Dale West was an employee of Anthony Stark ans a colleague to Bill Foster (Black Goliath) and Talia Kruma. He was an engineer and skilled mathematician. He wore a personal jacket which created force fields around him and enhanced his strength. The jacket could also project a magnetic field and attract people and objects to it, the former because of the iron contained in the body of a human.
