Dan Deerlane had two daughters Elisa ( Ghost) and Margo Deerlane. When the girls were young Dan was killed by Earl Cameron who later married his wife June Deerlane and adopted his two girls changing their last names. Elisa knew that Dan was murdered but repressed her memories until they were restored by the alien called Vortex.
