Dante grew up in a poor family in the projects which led him to start a life of crime at an early age. When he was hired by an Irish gang, Dante had a run in with Kato and the Green Hornet. The Green Hornet allowed him to leave but swore that if he ever saw him again that they would not be so kind.
This turned his life around and he tried to return the favor to other troubled youths of the area bu teaching them martial arts at his school – Pollard’s Muay Thai Gym and Education Center. Although he did not know it, he trained the Green Hornet’s son, Britt Reid Jr., who was one of his most naturally talented students.
After Britt’s murder, Britt Jr. attempted to get Pollard to continue his training for his revenge, but Pollard refused. He continues to keep a watchful eye on young Britt.
