The princess of the witches of the Summerlands, the girl who would become Daphne had her name taken from her to protect her, and was sent to another world to escape the invading Thinking Man’s Army. Stuck in San Francisco, she sought her name, which her mother promised to send her in true love’s kiss. She spent some time going out with various men in the search for that kiss, but soon found herself killing those who betrayed or otherwise failed her. Soon growing weary of her search, and happy with her life in San Francisco, she gave up the search and resolved to enjoy her life.
