Dark Messiah was Mordecai Jones, a street performer mutated by Moondragon. He was invulnerable to physical assaults by Daredevil and gunfire by the police. He fired blasts of energy which could shatter thick stone and iron walls. He created highly durable force fields, large enough to isolate San Francisco from the rest of the planet. He could also teleport and mutate other people.
