Darkling

Brief History

The young woman that would became Asylum was a mental patient who was experimented upon, which imbued her with a fraction of the Darkforce energies that converted her body into a psionic mist that caused hallucinations to anyone who came in contact with it. As her experience with the Darkforce energies grew she even manage to create solid forms; offensive weapons and shields.She was vulnerable at the one solid part of her body, a golden mask. After being defeated while fighting solo against the New Warriors, Nova, Firestar and Speedball, she seemed to dissipate except for her mask, and has not been seen in action since.

Powers

 She was unique at using the Darkforce that her body was not solid but rather a manifestation of the Darkforce in a mist form. She later was able to create artifacts of solid Darkforce.
