Darquill was a drug kingpin being investigated by John Tensen. When the White Event occurred, Darquill went into a coma, and hallucinated a fantasy world called the “Far Place”. He also mentally influenced other people into becoming part of his fantasy world, altering their memories and personalities to make them believe that they had originated there.
When Tensen, now known as Justice, broke free of Darquill’s influence, he immediately killed Darquill.
