Very little is known about David. A writer, a wealthy patron of his provided the funds to allow him to move to the manor house at Titus Roan to complete his next work
Creation
David was created by Bill Willingham and Richard Corben. He made his first appearance in House of Mystery #16.
Major Story Arcs
House of Mystery
Finding himself under attack by the wolves of Titus Roan, David keeps a diary cataloguing the events. He eventually falls in love with and impregnates the only other survivor, Betty. When their son is born he is taken away by the wolves to be raised as their king. The wolves inform David that he and Betty are to be killed the next day. He resigns himself to this.
