David Ishima was the landlord of Jessica Drew and Lindsay McCabe. He dated Jessica for a while but the relationship ended because of David being unable to accept her activities as Spider-Woman. He later switched his romantic attentions to Kitty Pryde. He took Kitty disco dancing in San Francisco but had to promise Storm to bring the girl home at a “reasonable hour”.
