Origins
Dead Duck first appears in Dead Duck issue #1 in the story Soul Taker‘s Apprentice. Dead Duck is cleaning toilets for J.P. aka Death. He then works as assistant to death, taking on his work for him. Dead Duck was born when the soul of an ancient evil being went inside of a duck, causing the duck to explode but leaving behind the egg that bore the little blue duck.
Abilities
Dead Duck wears a death cloak which seems to offer protection from death but not from pain. Dead Duck also has hidden powers he isn’t fully aware of which are tied to his anger; he uses them only once to destroy a man holding his best friend Zombie Chick hostage.
