Deathboy appears in Pantheon #2 and #3. He was one of their strongest foes. The battle between Deathboy and the Freedom Machine ended with several casualties on the team. A fresh recruit from the Teen Machine, named Shadowpax, was the one who finally stopped him.
Deathboy had the power to teleport (although he appeared to vaporize) any object in his field of vision. He also had a protective force field that was so strong that he only incurred a few scratches from a ground-zero airplane crash. He is finally killed by Johnny Venture, who detonates a small explosive surgically implanted in Deathboy’s head .
