Demogorgan lives under the sea, killing sea creatures for fun. Once Johnny Triton was drowning after a shipwreck and called out to Demogorgan, who answered his calls and saved his live. Demogorgan gave him a ship and a crew so Johnny could offer him sacrifices. One time Johnny refused to give him a girl named Vampirella, and Demogorgan took everything back, and killed Johnny.
