Origin
Raised an orphan at a medieval Irish monastery, 18-year old Derdre is a mystery. When she returns to the village where she thought she was born, she finds no record of her birth. All records indicate that her “parents” were childless when they were burned for Witchcraft, when she was 3.
Major Story Arcs
A visit to the cabin in the woods where she lived as a child prompts an encounter with The Host (an envoy of the Dark One) where it is revealed that she was “acquired” and “promised” to the powers of evil as a child. Her real parentage is unknown.
The discovery that she has been inhabited by a demon who takes over her body when she sleeps does not come as a pleasant surprise.
