Destiny Gonzales was a young runaway that was abducted by an evil organization called the Pride. The Pride used Destiny in a sacrificial ritual, but unbeknownst to the Pride their children who had no idea what their parents were up to had witnessed the entire ordeal through a 2 way mirror.
Those same children then attempted to phone the police and confess to them what had occurred and that their parents were secretly super villains but they weren’t taken seriously and decided to gather more evidence before going to the police again.
Later the Pride found out what the kids had been up to so they framed them all for the murder of Destiny in order to stop them from going to the police and as they were now wanted fugitives.
