Her parents were political activist in Badhnisia, who dissapeared under strange circumstances. She became a police in hopes of finding the wereabouts of her missing family.
When Batman traveled to Badhnisia to investigate Abyss and his relationship with Lex Luthor, Cayha offered assistance to the vigilante, proving to be a valuable ally. As she was able help him escape after being injured in his first encounter against Abyss, and later helped him to infiltrate in the prison where Batman Inc. members where held.
Batman returned to Badhnisia after hearing rumors of Abyss’s returns, only to find out that Cayha herself took the identity with a new costume so she could find more clues about her parents abduction. Worried that she would end crossing some lines, Batman decided to assist her.
During the search, Batman shared with Cayha that he once thought of killing the man responsible of his parents deaths. In the end they found the responsibles of the abudtion of Cayha’s parents who confessed that they killed them and buried them. Cayha was tempted to murder the criminals, but was able to refrain herself, finding out where her parents were buried.
Once the criminals where arrested, Batman gave her a communicator of Batman Inc., before parting ways.
