Detective Sykes was a beat cop in New York City. When she tried stopping some punks robbing a liquor store, she was shot. The shooter was about to shoot her in the head but was stopped when Spider-Man came to save the day. Now she wonders what if Spider-Man had messed up. She feels the New Warriors shouldn’t be allowed to run around without the proper training that The Initiative offers. With her partner, Detective Givens.
