Nominally parodying the short-lived and by then already defunct 2000 AD spin-off Diceman (the logo is a direct take-off, but that’s about all), but mainly sending up Dungeons & Dragons obsessives, young Frodo Johnson sees everything as an adventure game, and turns to his dice to make decisions.
Somewhat in the same vein as another geeky obsessive created by Lew Stringer for Oink!, Specky Hector. A cameo appearance by Rashy Rachel, a supporting character from Pete and his Pimple, establishes the strip as taking place in the same neighbourhood as Stringer’s other Oink! strips.
