Created by Reg Bunn, Dick Daring of the Mounties debuted in Thriller Picture Library #217. Thriller Picture Library was a Fleetway title which each issue told a complete new adventure for one of a rotating selection of heroic adventurers. Dick was based out of Creek Town, Yukon Territory.
