Doctor Mordrid

Creation

The character was created for the film of the same name, after Albert and Charles Band failed to make a Doctor Strange film.

Before choosing the name Doctor Mordrid, the character was called Doctor Mortalis and had concept art made by by Jack Kirby.

In the comics, Mordrid encounters another Charles Band creation, Dollman.
