Martha Gomes was a divorced factory work who one day discovered and was bonded with a new power prism created by the Grandmaster. She decided to abuse it’s power to commit robberies.
Creation
Martha Gomes was created by Fabian Nicieza and Tom Grummett and first appeared in New Thunderbolts #12.
Major Story Arcs
Purple Reign
Some time later, Gomes fell under the manipulations of the Purple Man and was commanded to attack the Thunderbolts. Mid-way through the fight, the Prism stopped working for Gomes and Atlas subdued her. With Gomes arrested, the prism was retrieved from her hand and was sent to be studied by scientists. It wound up bonding itself to one of the scientists; Alice Nugent.
