Dog Supreme

Origin

On his home planet Kanaria, Wardog was a power mad mongrel who formed a pure bred party under the guise of unification. He promised the populace peace and prosperity, but instead gave them an over sixty year war of oppression. Finally, the citizens of Kanaria united to battle him. Cornered and outnumbered, Wardog had one option left. Jusrt as he was about to push the button to nuclear destruction, a passing Zardon ship teleported him away. The Zardonian princess Leeanna wanted a pet. But no ordinary pet would do for her. Bombarding Wardogwith cosmic radiation and building a special suit to contain his new powers, Wardog changed from a simple mad dictator to a simple power mad cosmic being now known as Dog Supreme.

Major Story Arcs

Princess Leeanna is charged in the conquest of the planet Earth. She’s unaware that two of her most trusted aides, General Targon and Bishop Olmos, are plotting a coup to overthrow the high imperial Zardon throne. In the coup, the two manage to drain off Dog Supreme’s cosmic powers in order to revive King Ghidorah. Once they have his power, Dog Supreme is dumped into space where he manage to save himself by salvaging an abandoned Zardon fighter. Both the coup and the invasion fail and Dog Supreme is abandoned on Earth.

He twice tries to conquer Earth with his diminished powers. The first time he gives it up after he loses a game of rock-paper-scissors to Zetraman. The second time his plane crashes into Antarctica and he’s frozen in ice. Released from the ice, he’s taken back to Kanaria by the Bark Two Squad to stand trial. Tomorrow Girl serves as his lawyer. Science officer Goliath tells the jury that the Zardons had not fully drained Dog Supreme of his cosmic powers. In fact, being frozen has caused an instability in his powers which can detonate at any time. At the last moment, Professor Steamhead neutralizes Dog Supreme’s powers. Tomorrow Girl concludes that Dog Supreme just wanted to unite the races of Kanaria, which he had done, albeit a bit extreme. The judge placed Dog Supreme in Tomorrow Girl’s care and he was taken back to Earth.
