Dane is a genius and a friend of Jennifer Knight, Phantom Lady, he is also the creator of the Blacklight Gloves among other devices. When mafia members appeared searching for Jennifer, he gets trapped in his “Shrinkinator” and exposed to its effects by the Bloody Benders. As result of that, he is trapped in six inch size permanently until he can find a way to revert the effects of the machine.
Using a gadget of his own invention, Dane helps Jennifer in her justice crusade until they wer contacted by a man called Sam who is assembling his own team of freedom fighters.
