Origin
From the womb of Lilith, spawned countless fiends and malevolent entities, each bearing a fragment of her boundless rage and insatiable hunger. Among these progeny was a succubus with a captivating allure and a voracious appetite for pleasure, Dominique.
While her sisters stated their desires by seducing men in their sleep and growing powerful feeding off their fear and sexual energy. Dominique found herself drawn to the pleasures of the flesh, indulging her desires with abandon, seducing men in their dreams with her irresistible charm. With each conquest, she fed not only on the energy of her victims, but also on the sensations of pleasure they bestowed upon her.
Dominique became rampant, instead of using the energy she gained from sexual encounters and male seed to have spirit children, she saved the energy, gaining enough to will herself into a physical form multiple times. In human form she sampled many men and also human food and customs. She craved to be like her Estrie sisters, who were flesh and could partake in the ecstasy of intimate encounters.
Ever mindful of her origins, she knew that her power stemmed from the dark legacy of her mother, Lilith, and while she accepted this wholeheartedly, with each embrace and each stolen kiss, she strengthened her connection to the human realm, drawing upon its energies and using everything she knew about mystical energy, to fuel her desire to become incarnate until, eventually, she did. Dominique integrated herself into Chicago’s supernatural community, she took the human name “Dominique Darc” and began to live her life as a human women.
Dominique is close to members of the Sisterhood of Lilith. While is considered and associate member, she doesn’t see herself as aligned with any group nor does she side with Heaven or Hell. At times she will side with the Sisterhood because of her lineage, or even help defend earth against supernatural threats if she sees the threat as problematic enough to her enjoyable earthly existence, other that she’s not interested in being caught up in anyone’s war earthly or cosmically.
Powers and Abilities
Dominique uses energy from food and her encounters generally to keep her body incarnate. The longer she stays corporeal the tighter her connection to the material world will be. While she could consume flesh and/or blood like an Estrie, she loves human food, which her body can convert to mystical energy just as easily. Indulging her insatiable lusts makes her very powerful. She is very fast, supernaturally strong and has a supernatural healing factor on par with that of a vampire.
Dominique seeks only to enjoy life as a human woman, but if challenged, she is a competent brawler, able to easily dominate human combatants, but she isn’t a trained fighter and may be easily crumpled by greater or more trained supernatural opponents. Like many creatures of her elk she can bare razor sharp claws and teeth to defend herself if threatened.
While she doesn’t indulge in “the craft” she is a powerful magic adept and can cast basic spells, control dark force energy and astral project. Sometimes she can control outcomes and events based on her desires. As a succubi she has pheromone manipulation and limited emotion control.
Susceptibilities
Like many demonic creatures Dominique has an aversion to crosses, crucifixes, Holy relics and water held or used by believers as well as consecrated buildings and grounds, but because of her direct Lilian lineage these things don’t do damage to her, but in some cases do greatly disturb her the closer she is to the item. This discomfort may cause her to freeze, become enraged and/or leave, particularly if directed to do so by a believer. She does have the silver allergy so common to supernatural creatures and silver weapons and ammo may cause her grave damage, especially if hit in the heart or head.
Dominique is also susceptible to some forms of magic, but because she is corporeal, she is resistant to trapping and containment spells. She can also walk on consecrated ground, especially if no believer is around. Though she has a preference for the night, she can move about in the day unrestricted and doesn’t need to be invited in to enter places. Because of her intense desire she is highly susceptible to the male attention and overtures.
