When Bruce Wayne was nineteen years old, he set out from Gotham to travel the globe and learn all the skills he would need as Batman at the feet of masters. One of those masters was Don Miguel, a criminal from Rio de Janeiro whom Bruce paid to tutor him in the art of high-speed car chases. Once Bruce had mastered all that Miguel could teach him, he crashed his teacher’s car, knocked him out, and left him for the police to find so that Miguel could be tried for the murders of 23 police officers he had killed in over a dozen different countries.
Creation
Don Miguel was created by Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV and Rafael Albuquerque in the backup feature of Batman #21.
