Donna White

Donna White lived a normal life in a normal world.   At least, she thought she did.   One day a band of colorful rebels followed by a stampeding array of monsters every shape and size drove past her on the street.   No one else saw it.   The girl in one of the cars, Raina, rescued her from the monsters.   Before she had gotten a chance to figure out what was going on she was forced to jump cars with Raina so Rocky, another of her saviors, could act as a distraction so everyone could escape.   His death gave everyone else the time they needed to get away from the monsters and back to their Camp.

 Once the car arrived back from wherever they had come from, Donna was amazed to see a bright world of color which was the Camp.   Kenji and Luke, two of her saviors, tried to help get her accustomed to the world slowly but soon Raina dragged her away to see everything.   The last treasure she showed her was the Closet which usually somehow provided the camp whatever they needed but it was empty when Donna opened it.

Later on Donna attended Rocky’s funeral which originally bothered her because it was so much more party than funeral.   Raina dragged her into the dance, though, and Donna realized some of what she had be missing before.   The next day she asked Raina about everything that had been going on.   Raina explained that the Gloom, the grayscale, was produced by Monsters.   Donna’s lack of color was because of the Gloom which usually only children were able to see through.   Before their conversation finished, though, the camp was attacked by an even larger invasion of monsters than there had been in the city.   Donna helped attack monsters but was almost captured.   Raina saved her and Kenji and Luke took her to the caves with the others.   She managed to survive the attack but Raina was captured.

After the attack Donna was trying to figure out why everything was going on when she saw a new outfit in the Closet.   Before the Closet hadn’t worked for her, but the new clothes gave her the determination to continue.   She went with Kenji, Luke and the other Bands to save Raina and their other captured friends.   She managed to get into the Citadel with Kenji and Luke only to find Raina turned grey by the Gloom.   She tried to snap the girl out of it but Raina couldn’t hear her because of the Gloom.   In one last attempt, Donna kissed her which brought the normal Raina back and brought color to Donna.   They all tried to escape but the Veratu stopped them.   After defeating the others, the Veratu tried to get Donna to tell it how she managed to escape from the Gloom alone.   Instead of telling it, Donna shot it and the Monsters are temporarily defeated.

Donna has used a small pulse gun that was lent to her by Raina.
