Doppelganger

Origin

Doppelgänger was once a bio- physicist in Russia and was secretly a mutant. He ran a research programme in which he used dead or alive mutants as biological weapons. He employed Crimson Dynamo to guard his facility. Doppelgänger first fought the X-Men when he drugged, captured and replaced Iceman. The X-Men discover this and battle Crimson Dynamo, who was guarding Doppelgänger and defeat him. Doppelgänger, under the disguise of Iceman, overuses his powers and collapses. He later seen boarding a plane to America and seems to have retained his powers after M Day.
