Norton’s psychiatrist in the city, and a practicing Buddhist “with strict discipline and beliefs.” Like Father Wilfred, Dr. Xu begins to question everything as she gets closer to Norton and the Black Barn. Norton’s only friend is Dr. Xu, but as Norton gets closer to the Black Barn, Lemire teases that Dr. Xu’s life gets closer to danger.
