Dr. Doom was a professor of criminology who was often consulted by the police about mysteries that baffled them.
Appearing first in the pages of Young King Cole Comics this crime solving professor was never given a first name, or was seen teaching a class he just mostly seemed to wander from crime to crime solving with his wits and fists.
