Dr. Sarah Brawl is the creator of Adaptoid in the Marvel Universe: Earth-20051. She has a PhD in xenobiology (the study of extraterrestrial life), advanced psychology, and quantum physics.
After directing the Adaptoid to absorb the various powers of the Avengers (it only got Quicksilver, Spider-Man, and Captain America), the Avengers overwhelmed her and she was sent to prison.
