On Puckworld:
Duke once ran a mob of thieves called the Brotherhood of the Blade. A master at burglary and escape, there’s virtually no place that Duke can’t break into, and no safe he can’t crack. But when the Saurian overlords attacked Puckworld, he decided to put his skills to good use. He was then recruited by Canard to be part of his special forces team to take out Dragaunus.
On Earth:
Duke is smooth and confident, with an appreciation for the finer things in life. He doesn’t appreciate the barbaric way many humans play hockey, and he also still takes pride in his craft of breaking and entering. On the team, he not only contributes his skills as a thief, but he is also a skilled swordsman, making use of his Duck Saber, which he keeps clipped to his arm when it’s not in use. He is also the oldest of the ducks, though still claims to be in his prime.
Quotes:
Duke: “You don’t steal the puck from a member of your own team, Nosedive. It’s bad manners!”
Nosedive: “Tchyeah, same to you DOUBLE!”
Duke: “I think we all know you’re the resident hot dog of this team!”
Nosedive: “And you’re the resident former jewel thief of this team!”
Duke: “Hey, if you don’t know the difference between a diamond tiara and a puck, I’d be happy to show you!”
Duke: “Oh, Tanya, do I look like a mechanic? Don’t answer that. Look, I don’t even have the proper clothes!”
Tanya: “Well, then you’re just going to have to get your tail feathers dirty.”
Wildwing: “It’s better if two of you stay, in case Dragaunus makes trouble while we’re gone.”
Duke: “And I just had my do done.”
“Ohhh, I hate the way hockey is played on this planet! That guy tripped me up on purpose!”
“Amazing what you can do with a toothpick, huh?”
Mallory: “Could somebody please explain WHAT is going on here?”
Duke: “Oh yeah. It’s obvious; we came to Anaheim from another dimension, right?”
Nosedive: “I know, I saw that episode. Go on.”
Duke: “So, we’ve been sent to a totally different dimension, a dimension ruled by magic! Sorcery, adventure, oh yeah, this is my kind of town, baby!”
