Dunbar Dodo and his fast-talking foil, Fennimore Frog first appeared in DC’s Funny Stuff #18 (1944), and continued in that title for several years. In 1954, Funny Stuff became Dodo and the Frog, starting with issue #80. They continued there until 1957.
Dunbar Dodo’s shtick was that he was not too bright. But he was lucky in that Fennimore Frog usually outsmarted himself.
