Early life and training

“I was a kid. No parents, no home, running messages and picking pockets to keep my ribs from meeting my spine.“

Living on the street with no parents and no home, Garrett had to deliver messages and pick pockets just to survive. This all changed when Garrett noticed a mysterious man walking by who nobody seemed to pay any attention to. Garrett figured the man must have had something valuable so he decided to sneak up on him and make a grab. He was caught in the act, however, and the man introducing himself as Artemis, a member of the ancient and secret Keeper order dedicating to observing the world and keeping the natural balance. He was impressed by Garrett’s natural talent to be able to spot a Keeper and offered to take him in off of the street and train him in their ways. Until the age of twenty Garrett trained with the Keepers and was described as their “most promising acolyte”, but left out of greed and used Keeper skills of stealth and evasion to benefit himself as the world’s greatest Thief.
