Dyna Wiggins was a much-younger trophy wife for Captain Wiggins. She became more and more obsessed with money and worldly things, and cared less and less about Wiggins. At one point, he came home to her to tell her that he had rejected a movie deal about Grendel, and that he was worried that he was becoming Grendel himself. She thought he was wimp and berated him. He snapped and stabbed her in the eye, killing her.
