Dynamo-Boy

Origin

One of the children born to the pirate inhabitants of New Tortuga, Vorm enjoyed the exciting, dangerous life there and learned pirate ways quickly. When the pirate’s leader asked for a young volunteer to infiltrate the Legion, Vorm stepped forward and killed an opponent to win the “honour.” The pirates gave him a hidden belt device with which he used to simulate special energy powers in front of Star Boy, who was so impressed by Dynamo Boy’s performance that he invited him to the next Legion tryouts. Dynamo Boy passed all tests with flying colours and gained membership to the Legion quickly, once in he proceeded to secretly sabotage all of his teamates in the ensuing missions and use loopholes in the Legion Constitution to have other members expelled. Eventually, Vorm ended up as being the only Legionnaire left. He then proceeded to hold tryouts for new members, he screened all applicants to find those whom he might possibly be able o corrupt and bring to do his evil deeds, but he had no luck until three adults claiming to be Cosmic King, Saturn Queen and Lightning Lord of the Legion of Super-Villains showed up and offered their services. The four “Legionnaires” posed as heroes in public, covering their private thievery and other crimes.

Vorm returned to New Tortuga to report his success and ended up killing the pirate leader in order to establish his supremacy on his own home planet. However though, when he returned to Earth, he walked into an Legion of Super-Villains trap which sent him off irretrievably into Earth’s far off future. Once he was gone, the Legion of Super-Villains were defeated by the Legionnaires, who had returned to Earth once they had become aware of Dynamo Boy’s sinister motives. All expelled members were readmitted.

Dynamo Boy has not been seen since the incident.

Powers & Abilities

Dynamo Boy has no super powers. He is a very evil character though, as well as very cunning and manipulative.
