Origin
A superhero groupie, Harris Ledbetter purchased counterfeit versions of Dyna-Mite’s rings from Cassandra Craft. Using these to become Dyno-Mite Dan, he answered an ad placed by Vigilante and became a member of the new Seven Soldiers of Victory.
Creation
Dyno-Mite Dan was created by Grant Morrison and JH Williams III. He made his first appearance in Seven Soldiers #0.
Major Story Arcs
Seven Soldiers of Victory
Dan joins the rest of the Seven Soldiers in hunting a giant spider in Arizona. During the confrontation with the spider he activates his rings, but freezes up in the face of the battle. He is killed along with all the other members of the Seven Soldiers when the Sheeda appear and begin the harrowing.
Powers and Abilities
Dan has no known superhuman powers or abilities.
Weapons and Equipment
Dan possesses two “working fakes” of a set of rings which, when activated, turn the wearer into a living reactor.
