Origin
Edie Eisenhardt was a Jewish woman living in Berlin, Germany when the Nazi’s seized power in the late 1930’s. She was the wife of Jakob Eisenhardt and mother of Ruth and Max, the boy who would grow up to become Magneto.
Creation
Edie Eisenhardt was created by (Chris Claremont,) Greg Pak and Carmine Di Giandomenico and first appeared unnamed in a cameo-flashback in The New Mutants Vol.1 issue 49, but first appeared named and fully in X-Men: Magneto Testament issue 1 (2008).
Major Story Arcs
Magneto Testament
Edie and her family tried to outrun the Nazis by moving to Poland, and then go away even further when the Nazis invaded Poland as well. They where however betrayed and captured. Edie and all of her family except for her son Max (whom would later become Magneto) where killed.
