Origin
Little is known about the Eel’s origins. At some point he began training in the House of Eel on Liu-Shi, and became that House’s champion.
Creation
The Eel of Blessed Waters was created by Ed Brisson and Mike D. Perkins. He made his first appearance in Iron Fist #2.
Major Story Arcs
The Trial of the Seven Masters
The Eel fights and nearly defeats Iron Fist as the first of the champions that Liu-Shi brings against the hero. However, Iron Fist rallies and is able to defeat him.
Sabretooth: Round Two
The Eel allies himself with Choshin and joins in his assault on K’un-Lun. He confronts Iron Fist during the fighting, but is almost immediately killed by Sabretooth.
Powers and Abilities
The Eel is very skilled in his House’s style of kung fu. He is able to generate electricity, which he uses to enhance his strikes.
