Ekak and another troll named Gaark attack Thor when he reaches a ruined Asgard. Thor is knocked down by a rock that hits his head and the two trolls plan to flay the thunder god. Thor quickly recovers and easily defeats the two trolls.

Ekak was created by Bill Messner-Loebs and Mike Deodato Jr in 1996 and first appeared in Thor # 500.
