More than 500 years ago, Jaime Sánchez was one of the lieutenants of the famous Ponce de León, who sought the fabled Fountain of Youth off the coast of what is now known as Florida. Betrayed by two of his men when exploring on his own, Jaime was buried alive near of the waters of the Fountain. His life stayed preserved indefinitely due to the effect of the waters, but his sanity faded gradually with the passage of the years. Already in more modern times, He would be released from his “living death” by a twist of fate. Confused and upset, faced the Green Lantern, Hal Jordan and Oliver Queen, aka Green Arrow, and was finally defeated and taken into custody by the authorities.
