Eliot Ness

Origin

Eliot Ness (April 19, 1903 – May 16, 1957) was an American Prohibition agent (working for the Department of the Treasury), famous for his efforts to enforce Prohibition in Chicago, Illinois, and the leader of a legendary team of law enforcement agents nicknamed The Untouchables.

He has not shown up often in the comics, just a cameo here and there, with the main appearances being two issues of Dells Four-Color Comics, and a follow-up series from same that lasted for all of two issues based on the TV program from the 50s, and briefly in the first issue of a black & white comic called The Untouchables set in an alternate universe where probation never ended and Ness’s group has to continue on into the 80s.
