Emerick Caphtor appears in the High Republic Miniseries Trail of Shadows where he is one of the main characters.
He is tasked by Jedi Council member Stellan Gios with discovering information about the unknown weapon/being used to attack the Jedi at Grizal and petrify Loden Greatstorm.
This leads him to take a taskforce where he uncovers a link between an old nursery rhyme story and the being that attacked the jedi.
