Professor Zagnar was an enemy of Aarkus, the original Vision. After being fired for his deranged lectures, in which he insisted that the laws of nature were meant to be broken, Zagnar turned to evil magic to conjure a storm and threaten the nearby town. Aarkus confronted him, and as they fought lightning from the storm struck and killed Zagnar.
