Ethan seems to possess some form of telekinetic and psychic abilities. These abilities first manifest when he kills his friend before he can kill an unarmed girl, they manifest a second time in court when he creates an “indoor storm” of wind and electrical surges and again in prison when he manifests a bipedal psychic construct to attack a prisoner who ganged up on him.
