Guy Pompton became the villain Evil Star when he decided that being a low-level crime lord would expose his criminal activity. He was also the owner of Ace Movie Agency and a rival movie studio was completing a script that would expose Pompton and his activities. He was secretly reenacting the script to pull off crimes unbeknownst to Alan Scott or any of the JSA. He battled the JSA, was defeated, and apprehended.
