Father Michael Bowen

Origin

Father Michael Bowen was a priest whom wanted to make the world a better place. He had a favorite niece named Tandy Bowen, a girl he would later again meet when she became the superhero known as Dagger.

Creation

Father Michael Bowen was created by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller and first appeared in Marvel Team-Up issue 100 (1980).

In his duty as a priest, Father Michael Bowen ran a self-help relief agency for immigrants. He helped Xi’an Coy Manh (Karma) gain employment in the United States. He was also a paternal uncle to Tandy Bowen (Dagger). He kept in touch with both women over the years.
